Friends in Close Places

First off, thanks for all your comments. Its’ awesome to know so many fans out there are already interacting with the show.

Recently, one of you posted wondering if a particular character was going to be featured on the show. That got me thinking...about characters, childhood favorites, and peanut butter sandwiches (but more on that later). So my question: If you had to be stuck in an elevator with either Mr. Bump, Mr. Tickle, Miss Sunshine, Mr. Happy, Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Bounce, who would you choose and why?

Somebody needs a tickle...

So by now most of you have checked out our new Mr. Men Show website. I don’t know about you but nothing screams BIG FAT FUN like good old fashion monkey tickling. If you have no idea what i’m referring to, pls allow Mr. Tickle to break it down.

One thing you may have noticed were the voices. Thoughts? Voicing the Mr. Men and Little Miss characters was one of our most interesting creative challenges. How do you voice a character that millions of readers have already voiced in their head? Its a tall order, for certain, but I think we really ended up with some amazingly hysterical performances.

Let us know which voices you liked the best. Oh, and don’t even get me started on Mr. Tickle... K

Sneak peek: Mr. Men Show Website

So excited to share with you a very exclusive sneak peek at the new Mr. Men TV show website. We've had a lot of fun over here designing and playing the games. My personal favorite is the Mr. Happy game (what can I say...I like poking).

Please note that this is not the final site (we are still updating some of the features). Luckily, you won't have to wait too long for the finalized Mr. Men show site; we should be going live next week. Enjoy and, as always, would love to hear your feedback. Happy Poking! K

Introducing...

Hope you dug the deep-grooves of that last track. Jared is an amazing composer and recently put out  a very cool afro-cuban-electronica record called tranquilidad cubana. Stongly recommend it. We'll try to post snippets of Jared's music from the show as we move forward--and certainly his title song for the show, in its various incarnations. Additionally, we want to begin introducing the stars (finally!!) of our little sketch comedy show. We'll start with 6 of the 25 today and slowly unveil the remaining cast members in the weeks and months to come...

Please let us know your thoughts on the look and feel of these designs. We've really struggled (successfully, I believe) to adapt Roger's original book illustrations for TV but with a few subtle twists here and there.

Thanks, guys, and look forward to hearing from you!!

K
