A new friend...

Hope you are all enjoying the updated Mr. Men Show site. I can't get enough of the Mr. Rude game! I mean when has pulling someone's finger been so much fun.

Beyond the site, in Mail on Sunday we revealed an old favorite, re-imagined for the Mr. Men show: Mr. Strong.

Its been really great to see Mr. Men fans commenting on and engaging with the Mr. Men characters. Your thoughts are truly invaluable. Some of you have told us you love the way the characters have developed, some of you are not sure and feel you prefer the originals. Evolving characters from book to screen is really exciting -- animation provides lots of creative opportunities and challenges. For example, imagine the fun we’ve had animating Mr. Messy (who appears as a static image on a plain, white background in the book but now needs to walk and talk on TV).  We’ve worked with Adam (Hargreaves) to stay true to the original spirit of the characters, while rendering them in a way that means they can be brought to life on screen. We can’t wait for you to see the TV show so you can see the results and the characters can, we hope, fully thrill and delight you, whether you are a new or an original fan. In the meantime, keep the comments coming – it’s terrific to hear your thoughts and gather your input. K
