Salutations!

Thanks, Kurt, for an amazingly blush-worthy introduction. Alas while I do not have a list of top-ten mega hit singles...yet,  I am part of the amazing Mr. Men Show team and enjoying every second of it.  I am also an avid Mr. Men Blog reader and have noticed your questions regarding the UK voice over talent for the Mr. Men show.

As Kurt mentioned earlier, we recorded all the UK voices at the Sound Company in London. We have been recording since October and have completed about 28 episodes so far (averaging recording about one week per month). Our cast includes Teresa Gallagher, Simon Greenall, Rob Rackstraw, Tim Whitnall, Jo Wyatt, and many others along with a very special narrator, but more on that later.  Luckily, Dave Peacock at the Sound Company sent me some great photos from one of the record sessions. Enjoy and here's to more Mr. Men fun in the New Year!   - Sarah

DESTINY'S CHILD

Say what? You heard me! And I'll say it again (louder, this time): DE-STIN-Y's CHILD.  No, not the grammy-award winning mega-stars that brought you such classics as Bootylicious, Survivor, Say My Name, Emotion, Jumpin Jumpin, Soldier, Bug A Boo, Bills, Bills, Bills, Check on It, Girl, No No No Part 2, Independent Woman Part 1, and so many more! No, I'm name-checking our very own Sarah Mullervy! Confused? Don't be. I saw that  Sarah commented last week on the launch date for the UK Site and felt compelled to introduce her formally. You all should know Sarah. She has overseen all facets of the development and production of the Mr. Men Show website, both the US and UK iterations, as well as running shot-gun on virtually all phases of the Mr. Men TV show production. So it's only fitting that she should fulfill her destiny and complete the Mr. Men trilogy by riding shot-gun on the blog. You should know in advance that the overall quality of the blog will improve, markedly, so don't be thrown off.  Thanks again, Sarah, for embracing your inner child of destiny.

UK site to go live

Thanks for all your comments on the new games.  I love the absolute hugeness of the site and the show and the cast of characters we’re drawing from. I’m not sure there’s ever been anything quite like this.

What’s most exciting is that we’ll be launching the UK version before the end of the year. This site will feature, I think, the truest aural interpretation of these characters, as we worked with a cast of Brit voice actors who grew up on the books and watched the original Arthur Lowe series.  In short, they know what they’re doing.
