Under our Mr. Men Hats...
Obviously we're all smiles here having watched our premiere on Cartoon Network (can't wait til Five joins the mix).
A note to our US/CA users: Let's not spoil the fun for our European counterparts and reveal the identity of the final three characters...it would be a shame to do so, so close to their own premiere.
So, when you comment, be sure to not reveal their identity yet. Don't worry they'll be revealed soon enough. The inhabitants of Dillydale thank you!

Your secret's safe with me! ;)
By the way, I watched my tape of the show when I got home today. I think it's pretty cute so far.
PS: I just got a Mr. Bump T-shirt today! Love it! ^^

My sons, 5 and 7, have been looking forward to the show. (So have I, since I read the books as a child and now collect them for my own kids.) We absolutely loved the first episode. The characters, the color, the humor and the design make this a great show for families. Here's to many years in Dillydale!

I have a random question about the website. If US/CA viewers can only see the US version, and UK viewers can only see the UK version, what version do other countries see? I know, it's a dumb question, but I'm just curious.

Awful show! Seriously, my daughter and I were completely let down. We set out DVR to record it since she would be at school, and as soon as she got home she wanted to watch it. I wanted to see it just as much! Roger Hargreave's books have been favorites of mine since childhood, and now my daughter loves them as well.
This show barely even resembles the wonderful, funny, witty, and charming book series. In an apparent attempt to "update" the show, you completely lost the beauty of the books.
My poor child couldn't understand why the characters she loves like Mr. Strong, Mr. Lazy, Mr. Nosy, and even Mr. Quiet look NOTHING like the real characters. For the life of me, I cannot understand why you would change these beloved characters.
Possibly worse than the altered versions of the Mr. Men, are the ridiculous and stereo-typical accents that they are provided with. It is honestly insulting to my intelligence. I cringed why my 5yo asked why they were speaking that way. That even she noticed it is very telling...
I believe that had the characters not been hacked apart in the revision process, had they been given voices that sound halfway intellegent, and had the show followed a storyline plot instead of the grotesque clips and horrible dancing, it might have had a chance.
Too bad. I would have been a loyal viewer, as would have my child. I have deleted the series from my DVR schedule.

Hi Michael, we produce 52- 11 minutes episodes which in the US were packaged together to create a 22 minute show. Glad to hear your 5 yr old is enjoying. Sarah

I was a huge fan of the Mr. Men and Little Misses back in the day, so I was very curious when I learned that you guys were bringing it back. I have seen a few of the episodes, and I love them! The shows are sooo funny! I especially love Mr. Scatterbrained, Mr. Rude and Miss Scary. Thanks for bringing them back and doing such a great job! There's just one thing, why does Mr. Bump hang out with Miss Whoops? Hasn't he learned his lesson by now? =)
