New Character Ideas...

Guys, we are loving your comments! In particular your requests/ideas for new characters. Little Miss Cutie Pie, Little Miss Shy, super fun! So let's keep the creative juices flowing...if you were to create a character or include another from the original books who would it be? What would they look like? What would be their quirks? Who would be their friends?

These are exactly the type questions our writers, artists and producers ask themselves when they create characters. Excited to see where your imaginations take you- Sarah

Heres one of my Character Ideas for One of my favourite Characters for the show! ;)

Mr Perfect (Original, with his Hair straighten up!, but suppose wearing a Tuxido would made him even more perfect, and He has friends with everyone whom he is very Polite of, He especially has his Special Friends whom he had a crush on sometimes, like Little Miss Daredevil or Miss Splendid since their Styles, like Mr Strong is even Stronger than before!, How about that?)

Little Miss Splendid (Original with her Beautiful Yellow Hair, Red Heels, a Beautiful Floppy Hat with Red Spots and Her Posh Voice, but also to make her more Beautiful!, She's Secretly Admired by Mr Perfect who smittens with her!)

Little Miss Neat (Perfectly Original, She's also the friend of Everybody like Mr Perfect, Miss Splendid, Mr Pernickity, Mr Fussy and More)

Mr Birthday and Little Miss Birthday (Everyone's Friends, especially at Preparing for Mr Men and Little Miss's Birthdays)

Little Miss Trouble (Original or more like Little Miss Naughty?, You Dedice! ;), She Causing Trouble by telling everyone lies about who actually didnt do something bad, also a friend of Little Miss Naughty and Little Miss Scary)

Little Miss Bossy (telling everyone what to do, also a friend of Mr Stubborn and Mr Grumpy)

Mr Maginificent (One of My own Mr Men Characters, He always like boasting about how magnificent he was, especially when he's around with Little Miss Daredevil who is his Best friend)

Little Miss Intelligent (One of my own Little Miss Character, She's Always knows everything and understand everything, than Mr Scatterbrain!)

Little Miss Tidy (Like Mr Pernickity, Mr Fussy and Little Miss Neat, She always likes keeping things tided up but offen lose everything during her Tiding up so She need help from her friends, especally from Little Miss Helpful!)

Little Miss Modern (Another one of my own Little Miss Characters, Like her friend, Mr Nosiy, She's even Noisy, With Modern Music!, Which might annoys everyone!)

I hope you like one of/All of my Ideas for the Characters :)

Daniel Coffey

P.S. I seen All 6 Episodes of the Mr Men Show on Channel 5 (6th one from today!), I enjoyed it (Prefur the Original Series but Keep up the Good work!) :)

Well, as long as we're talking about ideas for new characters, here's one I've actually been coming up with: Little Miss Unique. She's a friendly and energetic Little Miss who likes to add her own personal flair to everything she does, and is always thinking outside the box. For instance: Most people might paint their house just one color, like white. Miss Unique, on the other hand, would paint her house tie-dyed, polka-dotted, or with any other kind of funky pattern. She might also have a funky hair color, like blue or purple... or mabye even both! She also likes to collect unusual trinkets and artwork. She would probably be the kind who would get along the best with Mr. Messy, Mr. Noisy, Mr. Scatterbrain, Miss Chatterbox or Miss Daredevil, but she would probably annoy Mr. Persnickety, due to her free-spirited, hyperactive way of doing things.

As for Little Miss Shy, I'd keep her looking just the way she is, and have her be friends with Mr. Quiet, like in the book. I would also have her speak in a tiny, soft voice. My idea for her backstory is that she had always lived in Dillydale, but, like in the book, she had never before left her house until being convinced to come out by Mr. Funny. (That is, if he's in the next season. If not, I'll let you decide who convinces her.)

By the way, I'm really enjoying the show so far! (...even though I'm 16. But, who cares? This show is too cute!)

And I'll help you to suggest the right Colour for the Character's Body I listed.

Mr Perfect = Light Blue
Little Miss Splendid = Light Green
Little Miss Neat = Green
Mr Birthday = Light Blue
Little Miss Birthday = Pink
Little Miss Trouble = Yellow
Little Miss Bossy = Blue
Mr Magnificent = Bright Red
Little Miss Intelligent = Light Purple
Little Miss Tidy = Yellow
Little Miss Modern = Gray

if you dont mind, What do you think?.

Ooh! I love this idea! I also love the show(even though I'm 13)! I have some ideas of my own!

Little Miss Comedy (fan character)
Looks: Pink circle with small green nose and freckles, and short brown hair that flips out.
Outfit: Brown porkpie hat, brown untied shoes, white and pink spotted scarf.
Personality: That of a stand-up comedian, making jokes whenever possible. Life is her stage. She also has problems when it comes to eating sugar.

Mr. Straight Man (fan character)
Looks: Solid green circle, no nose.
Outfit: Blue shoes with tied laces, yellow bowler hat with blue brim, and a red bowtie.
Personality: The exact opposite of Little Miss Comedy (he's her older brother). He's completey serious, and Little Miss Comedy uses that as an advantage for her routines.

Mr. Uppity (original from books)
Appearance: Original brown bean shape.
Outfit: Original black top hat and monocle.
Personality: Like in the original book, he's one of the richest people, and he thinks he's better than everyone.

Little Miss Tiny (original from books)
Appearance: Same shape as Mr. Small, but smaller and pink.
Outfit: Blue hairbow.
Personality: Has the personality of a standard little girl. All of the others find her adorable. Spends the most time with Mr. Small.

Mr. Greedy (original from books)
Appearance: Original bloated appearance and orchid color.
Outfit: Black bowler hat and black bowtie added on.
Personality: Loves his food a little too much. Can eat the amount of food a normal person eats in a week in an hour.

Mr. Skinny (original from books)
Appearance: Original yellow stretched out oval with green nose.
Costume: Original red top hat.
Personality: Exact opposite of Mr. Greedy. Barely needs anything to keep him going. Despite that, he's best friends with Mr. Greedy. Also, he's almost invisible if he turns to the side.

Little Miss Magic (original from books)
Appearance: Original light brown color with short brown hair, small yellow nose, and freckles.
Outfit: Original green and white hairbow and red shoes.
Personality: She's the resident magician with actual powers. Whatever she says to happen, actually ends up happening! Like, if she would say "draw" to a pencil, it would jump up and draw a picture!

Little Miss Sloppy (fan character)
Appearance: Scribbly appearance like Mr. Messy, but with two pigtail-like lengthenings and is light blue.
Costume: A large pink hairbow that has a few patches of dirt on them.
Personality: She's Mr. Messy's sister, and has the same untidy manners. She also helps around his pizza parlor, mainly as the delivery girl.

I hope you like at least one of these ideas! :D

I'm well into the Mr. Men Show!

I've read all the books and seen all the episodes (except Parade and Potted Meat), so I am an expert on the Mr. Men & Little Misses. Given that I would like to see Little Miss Sparkle-Fantastic (my own creation)! She could be all sparkly and fantastical and she would be the most beautiful and popular Little Miss in all of Dillydale! Obviously she would only wear designer clothing and only attend the most posh and wonderful parties! She would be trapezoidal, pink in colour, with ringlets of blond hair and she would carry her super cute miniature Schnauzer (named Max) around in her very smart handbag! Her best friends would be Little Miss Bossy, Little Miss Brainy and Little Miss Twins.

When do you think you can make this happen?

First of all, the show rocks, my favourite episode so far is Dance.

Characters I would like to appear are:

Mr Uppity, (Original look, with the top hat and monocle, friends with Mr. Pernickety, and is a millionaire)
Mr Rush (Original look, with yellow hat and added trainers, very busy)
Mr Sneeze: (Original spiky look, I’m not sure about arms, he could produce them when he needs or have invisible arms, always has a cold.)

That's all, hope you like the ideas!

Firstly my daughter and I love the new series! She loves the funny colorful characters and I love the snappy dialog and retro look of the show - the art and art direction are absolutely phenomenal! The newly streamlined characters are crisp and cool and a joy to behold. Having been a devotee of the books I was initially put off by the re-design of Mr. Nosey , but I fell in love with him after hearing his adorable voice and witnessing his warm and quirky relationship with Mr. Small.

Now onto character suggestions: How about adding a few strong-willed Little Misses to offset the dominant Mr. Men? Miss Splendid, Miss Bossy or Miss Brainy would be nice additions.

Whoops! Look at the time! "Little Miss Single mom" is late for work! What a calamity!

I love Little Miss Naughty the best. She is very inventive. Little Miss Whoops keeps us on the edge of our seats. My friends five year old son laughs out loud everytime he sees her appear on the screen. Mr. Rude is entertaining and Mr. Scatterbrain is lovable. Little Miss Sunshine is all of us rolled into one. Thanks for a great show!

A thought about new characters:
I think that cartoons and shows that we allow for young ones (or anyone for that matter)to watch affect their thoughts, behavior, goals, values, etc. So while having fun with Mr. and Miss characters...
I disagree with adding Mr. Uppity because he's a millionaire...not him, please don't; there's enough praise to money in many other shows.
Now, I definitely agree with "I heart the Mr. Men Show" about adding a "new strong-willed Little Misses to offset the dominant Mr. Men" A little Miss that is very intelligent, independent and a good leader. Maybe little Miss Educator, Miss Factoid, Miss Mayor, Miss Embassador, Miss Tree-hugger, even Miss activist, haha... I'm going too far, aren't I? Well, it's just an idea. Hope too see something interesting. Hm... maybe a character from another country that speaks a different language? I love to watch show with my little one.

*Mr. Greedy
*Little Miss Moodswings
*Mr. Funny
*Little Miss Bossy
*Mr. Destructive
*Little Miss TwiNs
*Mr. Froggetful

I too would also like to see Little Miss Shy in the show. as well as Little Miss Tiny. Maybe one called Little Miss Artist. The character designs look just like the originals from the books. with a few alterations here and there. Please keep up the great work. Also the people who do the voices of the characters are great singers. Just be sure they don't over do it :).

Im going to be more descriptive

*Mr. Greedy- same look only fatter
*Little Miss Moodswings- looks like Mr. Nervous only with hair and she changes color when her mood has changed
*Mr. Funny- looks the same
*Little Miss Bossy- looks the same
*Mr. Destructive- a red hexagon with bulky arms and a tooth pick. He has a Terminator acccent
*Little Miss Twins- they look more trendy then in the book plus they speak at the same time.
*Mr. Froggetful- looks the same. Works at Mr. Messy's Pizza always frogetting orders

After some reflection I'm not sure you need any more characters - you've already got 26! Rather, I'd like to see more stories with Little Miss Sunshine, Little Miss Daredevil, Little Miss Naughty and Little Miss Scary. They're great characters with fantastic funny voices and they simply do not get enough play. I watch Cartoon Network every day specifically to see the Mr. Men Show -- even if I've already seen the episode -- and I need to see my favorite characters more than just every once in awhile. I am a loyal fan, and a consumer of the advertised products.

When can I expect you to make the adjustments I've detailed? Should I expect an answer soon? I need to know. Is anyone manning this blog?

My eight year old son and his friends love the show! The only problem is it plays on cartoon network while their at school, I record it for them but sometime I forget. Cartoon network should run another show later for the older kids that enjoy it. Also, how come the Mr. Men books are so hard to get? My local bookstore and library had none.

i have ideas:

mr mischeif (the origanal)

mr uppity (small top hat,red)

little miss giigles (the origanal)

Mr. Impossible (in his original form)

Mr. Clever (in his original form)

I think that's it.

here is some that i want to see in the show

little miss Trouble (new form make her look like a punk)

little miss Cloudy (new character that i made draw her whatever you want)

Mr.Wimp (new character that i also made draw him whatever you want)

Mr. Obvious (new character that i also made draw him whatever you want)

Well, if this is the format in which one must write to get a response, so be it.

Here are my suggestions for Saturday 08-03-08:

Mr. Mollycoddled (my own creation, design and color as you wish. He should be a big crybaby and very childish; always getting his wish.)

Little Miss Talksalot (looks and acts just like Miss Chatterbox but is a Periwinkle in color)

Mr. Slapdash (he does things hastily and incorrectly; bodges things up, poorly thought out, very B.Q. Color him as you like. He should have five sides and a rounded top.)

Mr. Uppity (From the books but please re-design. He looks ridiculous as is. Also change his color to something more fanciful. No monocle please - it's 2008!)

Mr. Strong (From the books, original design; square with a green hat. He would fight it out with the TV Mr. Strong for name usage. Loser is changed to Mr. Healthy)

Little Miss Brilliant (My own creation. She should be as her name suggest: BRILLIANT! Beautiful, well manicured with a voice like mine. I would like to try out.)

You can email contracts or legal papers if you would like to use my creations. It's not necessary for Mr. Strong or Mr. Uppity because they already exist.

I think the show should defintley have these characters:

Mr evil:Dark brown and friends with Miss Scary and Mr Stubborn

Miss Scared: Red and always scared and friends with Mr.Nervous,Miss Whoops and Mr.Bump and is always trying to be with Mr.Strong to have him protect her.

My son Ieuan is a huge Mr Men fan. I was worried that he wouldn't like the new Mr Men Show, but he loves it. Here are his suggestions for new characters for the show. He is only five and spent a long time writing down his suggestions. A bit quirky but here goes!

Little Miss Smelly. I want Little Miss Smelly to have a bow tie in her hair. I want her to have shoes on her feet and a waistcoat on.
Mr Cool. I want him to have a colourful hat with pink, yellow, blue and black.
Mr Funny - excactly the same as the original.
Mr No - Green with a red nose a black hat with shoes with
squiggles on and black gloves.
Mr Bruise with 12 plasters.
Little Miss Bad with a gleem on her face with wool on her shoes and bow tie in her black hair.
Mr Good an orange circle with a waistcoat and brown shoes.
and finally
Little Miss Somersault with her hair with a wavy fringe!

I thought I'd share my new Mr Men ideas with you:

Mr Kind - he's lovely and Mr play - he's a bit wacky but lots of fun, and Mr Read - he's square with glasses and loves his books. I've designed all of these characters, just wish I could show you!! - love the site!! oh and my Mummy made up little Miss Fancy!!

Kenan (7)

I miss Mr Greedy and Mr Funny from the original series. I'd love to see them make an appearance. Also, I'd like to see Mr Love, a heart shaped Mr Man I created years ago. Hope the new charcters from the new series are going to make it into book form so I can update my collection!!!

Here are my thoughts for Tuesday, 11/03/08:

I would like to see more pets, particularly those with hats. The addition of a kofia-wearing kinkajou, a sombrero-doffing burro, or a tam-topped Plesiosaur would thrill me to no end.

My favorite pet thus far is Mustard, Mr. Scatterbrain's yellow iguana!

Does anyone else have ideas for new pets?

Is there any chance the show will start airing in the afternoon or at night? I'm at work and Melody, who absolutely adores your show, is in school during both daytime airings. It's getting increasingly more difficult to record the show and when I miss it there's heck to pay from the little one.

It seems like you guys play a lot of tired old shows in the afternoon and early evening, is it asking too much to replace What's New Scooby Doo {snore}? With a fresh episode of The Mr. Men Show? Please?

Judging from this blog's comment section I'm certain we're not the only family asking for this. After all, we heart the Mr. Men Show!

I was wondering when the next rerun of trains will be cause I was recording it and only got half and I LOVED that episode!!! and I have some character Ideas, Mr. Reluctant-he's always having bad luck, and Little Miss Sparkle A shiny little lady.
