Hello, hello! Apologies for the team being away so long!!! We've been reading your posts though and love your enthusiasm. You guys are posting-fools :). OK, so there are a lot of facts and misfacts floating around the blog and other sites. The first one to confirm is easy: yes, we have been picked up for a season 2 (hooray!!!). It was a very nerve-racking summer until we got the call. Of course, there was no time to celebrate, for we immediately jumped into pre-production and began writing our first season 2 outlines. We will be making another 52 x 11 minute episodes, premiering late 2009, which we hope will be even funnier that season 1.
But before we fully jumped into season 2, we had to step back and review season 1. Adam, Jan Wohrle (Production Manager) and myself traveled to Renegade in Burbank to meet with Mark Risley, director, Ashley Postlewaite, executive producer, and our head writers/executive producers Eryk Casemiro and Kate Boutilier.
We hashed out the entire first season - what characters we liked, who were the best paired characters, who would be good additions to the cast? We talked about the geography of Dillydale, e.g. were the right people neighbors (in order to create the most hilarious encounters), were there locations we loved or wished we had visited, what was missing that we could incorporate in season 2?
We talked about episodic themes - which were the most fun and why? It is better if a theme is about a location or an action? Were the shows that had more or less sketches better? Dance break vs. music videos? And that was only day one. We kept you in mind throughout the process including your new character ideas, favorite sketches, and general thoughts. So again, thank you for those. They were really helpful. We also did a lot of research, testing the shows with kid viewers and getting their feedback. I can post more on that later, if you guys are interested.
As for the rest, I know you're super eager to know which of your favorite characters are going to be part of our cast, but it is a complicated process. What I can say for now is that the information on Wikipedia is not 100% correct. I’ll post more on characters once I know what I can confirm/reveal this early in production.
More to come, sit tight friends. --Sarah

And, your right about the wikipedia thing. Someone put on Wikipedia about my character, Miss Milly being in the new series (which is obviously untrue). As soon as I found out about it, it was deleted XD

i'll clap my hands for Mr. Men!!! *claps hands loudly* YEAAAAAAA!!! the craziest comment on this blog is the one u posted A2(hello) when u asked quick who's the biggest grumpian in Dillydale. and then u said comfusing math and the train ate my fruitcake. and then u had mr grumpy saying "you're not a well girl are you?"
Posted by: Little Miss Special | November 15, 2008 at 10:23 AM
I have to admit, it was a crazy comment.
So glad you're clapping, Miss Special. And Lizzy, I'm jumping around too! I'm constantly jumping! Everybody's comments are so much fun! Unless they have to do with confusing math. :(
Well what do you know, we are posting fools!XD
And funny, this morning I watched "Farm" and "Movies," and I went to the movie theater today!
I'm silly today. Hope I don't lose interest in Mr. Men before Season 2 premieres. WHAT DID I JUST SAY?! WAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!D:>
SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Posted by: A2(hello) | November 15, 2008 at 05:13 PM
A2(hello), you wouldn't loose interest in Mr. Men before season 2 premiered because when season 2 comes out it will be funnier and more funny parts than season 1 alicyn packard told me. she's the voice of Miss Sunshine, Miss Naughty and Miss Whoops.

Thanks for cheering me up, Miss Special. I have to admit, I am stubborn in keeping my favorite show my favorite show(A movie was my favorite for more than a year!)I'll see how long Mr. Men is my favorite(hopefully more than a year;))
Posted by: A2(hello) | November 17, 2008 at 05:07 PM
no problem A2(hello)! *insert Miss Helpful tone* just trying to be helpful. i'm sure Mr. Men Show will be your favorite for more than a year! and guess what you have something to look forward to next year when season 2 comes out!! besides Mr. Men is sooooo hilarious!!! btw how old are your sisters?
Posted by: Little Miss Special | November 17, 2008 at 05:46 PM
Hey Greg, yes we will be doing more interviews. Sarah
Posted by: Sarah | November 19, 2008 at 01:36 PM
i think i know why season 2 of Mr. Men doesn't start until late of next year. well cartoon network already has their schedule made up for this winter and next spring so really Mr. Men only plays when the movie doesn't take the entire 2 hours. Mr. Men time is at 6 am on weekends. so when new episodes air the time for Mr. Men will probably change so it will play daily so they can have a true premier date for each episode once a week. someone did say that cartoon network would release one episode a week which is a smarter choice that way they don't use up the episodes so fast. that's my guess.

thw wikipedia claimed that Mr. Persnickety would be changed back to Mr. Fussy, but no one confirmed that.

Thanks Sarah! Looking forward to interviews with the actual US voice cast.
