Hello, hello! Apologies for the team being away so long!!! We've been reading your posts though and love your enthusiasm. You guys are posting-fools :). OK, so there are a lot of facts and misfacts floating around the blog and other sites. The first one to confirm is easy: yes, we have been picked up for a season 2 (hooray!!!). It was a very nerve-racking summer until we got the call. Of course, there was no time to celebrate, for we immediately jumped into pre-production and began writing our first season 2 outlines. We will be making another 52 x 11 minute episodes, premiering late 2009, which we hope will be even funnier that season 1.
But before we fully jumped into season 2, we had to step back and review season 1. Adam, Jan Wohrle (Production Manager) and myself traveled to Renegade in Burbank to meet with Mark Risley, director, Ashley Postlewaite, executive producer, and our head writers/executive producers Eryk Casemiro and Kate Boutilier.
We hashed out the entire first season - what characters we liked, who were the best paired characters, who would be good additions to the cast? We talked about the geography of Dillydale, e.g. were the right people neighbors (in order to create the most hilarious encounters), were there locations we loved or wished we had visited, what was missing that we could incorporate in season 2?
We talked about episodic themes - which were the most fun and why? It is better if a theme is about a location or an action? Were the shows that had more or less sketches better? Dance break vs. music videos? And that was only day one. We kept you in mind throughout the process including your new character ideas, favorite sketches, and general thoughts. So again, thank you for those. They were really helpful. We also did a lot of research, testing the shows with kid viewers and getting their feedback. I can post more on that later, if you guys are interested.
As for the rest, I know you're super eager to know which of your favorite characters are going to be part of our cast, but it is a complicated process. What I can say for now is that the information on Wikipedia is not 100% correct. I’ll post more on characters once I know what I can confirm/reveal this early in production.
More to come, sit tight friends. --Sarah

My sisters are 11 and 5. Why do you ask? I don't want anybody to know too much about me. Just my characters, my favorite show(it's obvious, and the fact that I draw way too much(Don't believe me? I have no proof). BTW, my sister HAS posted here before(allison).
this is random:
Me: HOORAY FOR STUBBORNNESS!
Mr. Stubborn: This party is cheap!
Character of mine: You bet it is.

Whatever may come of Season 2, will Mr. Happy still be in it or it Wiki being incorrect again about saying that only MOST of the old cast will come back??
Posted by: Sunkiss | November 28, 2008 at 08:43 PM
would someone remove the supposedly false info about Mr. Persnickety being reverted to Mr. Fussy from the wikipedia's list of Mr. Men Show characters
Posted by: Mr.H | November 29, 2008 at 07:44 AM
also the wikipedia said that they would put fan fiction as the 26th episode of the mr men show. but they can't put fan made characters in the show because there would be huuuuuge questions about ownership and stuff. so i deleted that nonsense for everyone.

I definitely want everybody to stay on the show! Some new characters would be nice too. What ding-dong is posting false info about the Mr. Men Show on Wikipedia?

Posted by: allison | November 29, 2008 at 07:18 PM
Can someone con firm this?
(From Wikipedia)
Mr. Birthday (voiced by Adam Hargreaves) is scheduled to host the "Best of the Mr. Men Show" special, scheduled to air February 4th 2009, the one year "birthday" of The Mr. Men Show. The special will feature unaired sketches, interviews with the cast and crew, and reveal the 6 new characters to be added to the lineup.
